Idk what all the bad reviews are about, this app seems to work great for me. My iPad 2 even detects nail clippers with it, and thats pretty small. Something Im not sure I understand though, is certain metals in my household make the magnetic sensor go down instead of up. The iPad seems to idle at approximately 50 when not around any metal. But my fridge makes it go down to 20ish, where as my stove makes it skyrocket to 200. Different kinds of metals? Maybe you should make it so the alarm noise goes off if it goes below a certain level too? Not sure, but other than that very neat app and it certainly DOES work, at least on the iPad 2. Happy scanning!
